The Massachusetts Brownfields Tax Credit program is a powerful incentive for developers, commercial property owners, business owners or tenants who spent money to respond to environmental contamination at a Brownfield site. If you meet the qualifying criteria, as much as 50% of your net response and removal costs are refunded to you through a state tax credit. You may even qualify if you have since sold your property or even if you never owned the site.
